My parents named me Nicholas because they knew my abuelas would be shouting it from across the house a lot. Their first choice, "Brian," is unpronounceable in Spanish, so you can call me Nick.
I’m an actor, writer, and producer with experience in film, branded content, digital campaigns and live events for HBO and Borscht Film Festival, among others.
I am a founding member of Borscht Corp, the Miami-based, “eccentric and inspiring” incubator of groundbreaking filmmakers including Barry Jenkins and Tarell McCraney. In addition to producing short films for Borscht Corp, I served as the Director of Events and Communications for the Borscht Film Festival, “the most conceptually bold film festival of its era." Our events included sold-out gala screenings at Miami's Knight Concert Hall and Ziff Opera House, rooftop pool-side screenings, robot battles, underground concerts, and more. Every one of them almost killed me, but it was worth it.
I also managed special projects and events for HBO, including SDCC and SXSW activations, satellite media tours, soundtrack releases, fan auctions for True Blood and Boardwalk Empire, and the 24-city Game of Thrones: Live Concert Experience Tour.
Born and raised in Miami, I am an honors graduate of Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama and New World School of the Arts High School.
